Why hire me to photograph your visit to joshua tree?

I’ve been a professional photographer since 2006, and I have a lot of love for this strange, beautiful desert.

I’ve always seen photography as the best souvenir; a collection of real memories. With photographing anything from a retreat to a family, my approach is the same: giving you space to enjoy your experience, while capturing the most beautiful, relaxed photos of you, to hang on your walls, post on social media or use as marketing for future events.

I moved here in March 2020. After these 4 years, I’m feeling settled, involved and in love with the community here, and I just love sharing it with everyone who passes through.

I donate a portion of all proceeds to the Mojave Desert Land Trust (MDLT) and our local performing arts -Theatre 29.

I live with my husband, who is a full time artist, and I homeschool our 8 year old daughter.

Other things I enjoy include reading (big fan of the library), cooking, dancing, music festivals, supporting local businesses, and painting.

You'll get up to one hour with options to add as much time as you need.
Online Photography Gallery

Choose your favorite 40 high resolution images from a gallery of at least 80 images. Option to purchase the full gallery; find more info in the Q&A below.
Curation and Direction

I'll suggest location ideas and either give you prompts to help you connect, or stand back and watch everything unfold.

1. How do i get ready for my shoot?

Once you’ve paid the deposit, I will send an e-mail with all sorts of info, covering what to think about and all any other thing that needs to be considered to make your session a success.

2. How much is additional time for my photo session?

Each additional hour of photography is $405/hr

3. I'm hosting a retreat. Can I get a several hours or multiple days of coverage?

Yes! Depending on the days and amount of events, we can work out a special package price to make sure your retreat is covered to the fullest. Let me know your budget and we will discuss what can happen.

4. Do you edit your photos?

Yes, for every single image I deliver to you, you get a naturally edited, vibrant photograph that is true-to-color, with good contrast and no filters.

When a specific photo calls for it, I will convert it to a beautifully toned black and white, in which case you will get the color version as well.

For my fellow photo nerds that are wondering, I do all of my editing in Lightroom, with some occaissional Photoshop as needed.

5. How much are additional photos?

So you picked 40 great photographs, but others in your gallery are catching your eye…

Additional photographs are $25/image.

Want ALL the photos in your gallery? We will work out a custom price that works out an even better per image rate than $25/image, depending on the size of your gallery.
