Why hire me to photograph you and your business?
As a fellow artist, dreamer, and entrepreneur, I know what it’s like to struggle and thrive with a small business.
We have so much potential here in the desert, from getting work within our own community, to working with just a fraction of the 3 million visitors that pass through JTNP each year. They’re here on vacation and they WANT our local, handmade goods and specialty services.
Professional photography will help each of us stand out, and I have nearly 20 years of working with all types of businesses, from local events to products and goods, corporate headshots and over 400 weddings, couples and family photo sessions.
I moved here in March 2020. Yes, it was a strange time to move, but after 4 long years, I’m feeling settled, involved and in love with our community.
I live with my husband, who is a full time artist (he does the Hwy 62 Studio Tours), and I homeschool our 8 year old daughter.
Other things I enjoy include reading (big fan of the library), cooking, dancing, music festivals, taking classes at Total Fitness, and painting.

How does this work?
Let's talk through the process, from filling out the interest form to receiving your images.
A. Interest Form
1. Tell me a little about you and your business right on the interest form below.
2. You’ll get a personal e-mail reply within 24 hours.
B. Book Me
3. I’ll send a short contract and invoice. Half the total is due to secure your spot.
4. You’ll then receive a link to book your shoot date.
C. getting ready
5. Fill in a quick online questionnaire so I can get to know your business more.
6. Receive an e-mail from me with directions on everything you need to prepare.
D. The Photos
7. We’ll be all set for a perfect photo shoot. I’ll arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in order to get set up. We’ll spend an hour creating beautiful content.
8. Receive your photos within 2 weeks, and start using them right away!

With all the research I’ve done on social media, I’ve found that you don’t need to post every day, but just need to be consistent. So that could mean picking 1-2 days a week where you post, and sticking with it.
Just imagine having 3 to 6 months of photos ready to go!! And with the free Instagram planning app, called Planoly, it will be SO easy for you to upload the photos, plan your posts, and not have to worry.
Once you’ve paid the deposit, I will send an e-mail with all sorts of info, covering what to think about, what to wear, and all any other thing that needs to be considered to make your session a success.
Yes, for every single image I deliver to you, you get a naturally edited, vibrant photograph that is true-to-color (crucial for your products!), with good contrast and no filters.
When a specific photo calls for it, I will convert it to a beautifully toned black and white, in which case you will get the color version as well.
For my fellow photo nerds that are wondering, I do all of my editing in Lightroom, with some occaissional Photoshop as needed.

Additional photographs are $15/image.
Want ALL the photos in your gallery? We will work out a custom price that works out an even better price than $15/image, depending on the size of your gallery.
If you would like more photos, or want them done in more than one location, such as your place of business and also some out in nature, like in JTNP, we can always add more time.
2 hour or multiple location sessions start at $600 and include 50 photo downloads from a gallery of at least 120 images.
