The Ultimate Laidback Joshua Tree Elopement Timeline

Elopements

In this Post

What makes eloping so incredible is that you can plan your day(s) however you want; maybe even barely have any plans at all. You can choose to include a handful of your closest people, have your family meet you at a restaurant to celebrate, or do it all on your own- just the two of you.

Here’s an example of what a few days in Joshua Tree could look like for you.

NIGHT BEFORE

– Campfire at airbnb, just the two of you or with you small group of people

DAY OF YOUR ELOPEMENT

9:00 am – Wake up and get in a outdoor hot tub with coffee & fruit

9:45 am – Massages in your room // Private chef gets to work

11:15 am – Eat the gourmet breakfast in your robes?

12:00 pm – Smoke a bowl and then shower together?

12:45 pm – Have someone do your hair and make up? Get a shave in your room? Do your own thing?

2:00 pm – Chillin, Get dressed together, Enjoy a local charcuterie box

3:00 pm – Drive (get driven) to Joshua Tree National Park

4:30 ish – Explore around, find a spot for Vows in JTNP

4:45 pm – Read letters from family while sitting cozy on some rocks… with champagne or sparkling cider or fresh juice

5:34 pm – SUNSET // beautiful photos

6:30/7 pm – Dinner + Dancing with live music at Pappy & Harriet’s

NEXT DAY

– See some local art spots, walk the labyrinth + have lunch at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center, local shops, Joshua Tree Saloon?

– Dinner, drinks, snacks + music all night long with a small group of friends at air bnb.

NEXT NEXT DAY

– Pancake breakfast + coffee at dawn

– Lunch at local burger joint or pho depending on the weather

– Maybe go to the drive-in theatre in 29 Palms

– Just CHILL in air bnb for rest of the afternoon/evening

– Order in pizza… movies (pick out some funny wedding themed ones?) and jacuzzi the night away while star-gazing
